I have a joke virus that left a blue screen background, how do i get rid of it?

My computer detected a joke virus, which it deleted, but the clean failed. It left a blue screen desktop background that says “Warning! Spyware detected on your computer. Install and antivirus or spyware remover to clean your computer.” I can’t seem to get rid of it. When I go to my display properties, the option to change my background isnt even there anymore! How do I get rid of this thing? Its annoying!

There is a man that lives in a hotel on floor 45. Everyday he goes to work and then comes strait back home. On days that it has been raining, he will take the elevator all the way up to the 45th floor. On days that it wasn’t raining, he would only go to the 30th floor then walk the stairs the rest of the way.
